What goes better with a snowy day at Sundance Film Festival than a set of neon pink, black and lime green nails? Even for those who prefer a bit more understated approach to makeup this week it will be tough to resist a bold pop of color against a backdrop of pure driven snow.
Thank goodness for my trusty stock pile of M.A.C Neon Pigments in Red Electric and Crystalled Lime Glitter and of course Black Black Matte Pigment. And as you know Ran is my nail art guru so this time we got a little DIY with the art using a mesh overlay and a sponge to create a fishnet pattern on my ring fingers. Nothing says I wish I was in an 80″s punk band like a ripped fishnet effect in black over bright pink. Am I right Gen X-ers?
Here is the breakdance down
Thumb, Index and Middle Phalanges – M.A.C Pigment in Red Electric and Black Black gradient
Ring Phalange (?) – M.AC Pigment in Red Electric base with black fishnet pattern sponged on with black gouache paint
Pinky – M.A.C Pigment in Crystalled Lime
